Anti-Fa Skulptur: Sculpture anti- nazi

Against the dark years of Nazism, this sculpture mentions the notions of presence/absence, especially this of women and their femininity, which has been taken away through the horror of the concentration camps. Here are the clothes, especially the underwear, the hair and even a little bloodstain as an element which show this femininity – even an allusion to the death can even be understood because of this last element. I created this sculpture in the middle of the road: the thought was to show something important to all even if it had a risk to be destroyed or just not to be seen. Here comes my point: in front of the eyes of all and in front of the eyes of no one at the same time. Just as our history, just as all the pasts of this world. Also, this sculpture was just an unobtrusive art, without any pretentiousness. Just in homage to the deaths and the pain. Just a way to say “remember” - perfect irony since the sculpture was an ephemeral work and doesn't exist anymore.
